another blow for president trump's halted travel ban. a federal judge in virginia issued an injunction to block enforcement of the ban in the commonwealth. the order bans people from 7 nations for 120 days. it's not being enforced anywhere right now- as it awaits proceedings in court. the white house is reportedly looking into options for a possible new draft of that order. the search ends for a wanted rape suspect in virginia. police say ronald herrera contreras is not only in the country illegally, the 18 year old is also wanted for sexually assaulting another teen 6 months ago. a fairfax county detective working with a regional gang task force recognized contreras in prince william county. he is now behind bars, charged with rape, gang participation, and abduction. this morning - a principal and assistant principal at west potomac high school in fairfax county are on administrative leave. these photos of principal alex case and assistant principal michelle lyttle are from the school's web site.
